By accessing or using Trusty Translate (“we,” “our,” or “the Service”) at trustytranslate.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including individuals uploading documents for translation and anyone browsing the website. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Trusty Translate provides professional translation services from Portuguese and Spanish into English (U.S.), primarily for immigration and legal purposes. Our services include:

• Certified Translation — USCIS-accepted documents with a signed Certificate of Accuracy, priced at $30 per page.
• Standard Translation — Professional human translation for general and business use, priced at $0.15 per word.
• Add-on services: notarization (+$25), expedited 24-hour delivery (+$20), and physical hard copy via USPS (+$15).

All certified translations are produced by a Certified Translation Professional (CTP) and include a signed statement attesting to the accuracy and completeness of the translation. We do not guarantee acceptance by any specific agency, but our certified translations are prepared to meet USCIS standards.

When you submit a document, it is uploaded directly to our secure cloud infrastructure via an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS). Our automated system uses Amazon Textract to detect the text content and calculate an accurate price estimate based on the number of pages or words.

By submitting a document, you represent and warrant that:

• You own the document or have the legal right to submit it for translation.
• The document does not contain unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent content.
• You consent to our processing of the document for the purpose of providing the Service.

We accept documents in PDF, DOCX, DOC, TXT, JPG, and PNG formats, up to 20 MB per file. We reserve the right to refuse documents that are illegible, corrupted, or that violate these Terms.

We take the security of your documents seriously. Every file you submit is protected by multiple layers of security:

While we implement industry-standard security practices, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the Service at your own risk.

We retain documents for 30 days to allow us to fulfill your order, address any questions about the translation, and handle any re-delivery needs. After that period, all files — including the original document, extracted text, and any copies created during processing — are permanently erased from our storage systems and cannot be recovered.

Translated documents are delivered to you via the email address provided at checkout. We strongly recommend you save a copy upon receipt, as we cannot retrieve documents after the 30-day retention period has passed.

Metadata (such as file name, page count, and order ID) may be retained for billing and legal compliance purposes for up to 7 years in accordance with standard business record-keeping requirements.

If you wish to request early deletion of your documents before the 30-day period, please contact us at support@trustytranslate.com with your order ID and we will process your request within 48 hours.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). Payment is required in full at the time of order. No account registration is required.

Prices displayed on the platform are in U.S. Dollars (USD) and are calculated automatically based on the page count or word count extracted from your document.

Refund Policy

• Full refund: if you cancel your order before we begin translation work.
• Full refund: if we are unable to complete your translation due to an error on our part.
• Revision: if the completed translation contains material errors, we will revise it at no additional charge.
• No refund: once translation work has been completed and the document has been delivered.
• No refund: for add-on services (notarization, expedited delivery, hard copy) once those services have been initiated.

To request a refund or revision, contact support@trustytranslate.com within 14 days of receiving your completed translation.

All translations are produced or reviewed by a Certified Translation Professional (CTP) credentialed by the American Translators Association or equivalent body. Certified translations include a signed Certificate of Accuracy attesting that the translation is a true and accurate rendering of the source document.

The quality of a translation depends on the legibility and completeness of the source document. We are not responsible for inaccuracies resulting from illegible handwriting, low-resolution scans, partially obscured text, or document corruption.

We do not guarantee acceptance by USCIS, courts, academic institutions, or any other third party. Acceptance is at the sole discretion of the receiving authority. However, our certified translations are prepared in full compliance with USCIS requirements and we maintain a 100% USCIS acceptance rate.

You agree not to use Trusty Translate to:

• Submit forged, falsified, or fraudulent documents.
• Submit documents containing illegal content, hate speech, or material that violates any applicable law.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise misuse our automated text-extraction systems.
• Use the Service for any purpose other than obtaining legitimate document translations.
• Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Service.

Violation of this policy may result in immediate termination of your order without refund and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Trusty Translate and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: loss of data, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, or rejection of a visa or immigration application, arising from your use of the Service.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including without limitation any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at support@trustytranslate.com and allow us 30 days to resolve the issue informally. Most concerns are resolved within 48 hours.

If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
